oh thanks JackDooner and Stefamplayer for the replies that’s very cool if it would be able to connect it with the laptop or pc, i’m thinking of getting the MEP 6000s or the 7000s with a mixer, thanks for the help. :D

yes, the MEP-7000 is in fact a double cd player/ (and other media player) and will therefor need to be hooked up to a mixer because it oesn’t have an internal one

well if your using it with the CD Unit, you need a mixer. But if you are using it with your laptop or pc you can use the internal mixer on your laptop (the mixer that is on the dj programme on your pc)
But it is more easier and prefared to get a mixer. You will only need a small 2 channel mixer, nothing special. Hope i helped.

1. No internal soundcard in the Controller
2. no Usb / Firewireports on Controller For hardware, like harddrives, CDs / DVD’s etc
3. takes forever to update your record crate
4. TO EXPENSIVE!
5. No Hotcues or Tap Function for BPM / FX

These are the most important dealbreakers for me

NO DEAL!

Denon HD2500 is way better i that case, even though it has some minor issues with the software.

And as i still go oldskool with CD’s i gonna hold on to my CDJs 1000 mk3’s, DNS 3500’s and DN 9000’s

/S
